I really enjoyed buying my first home with Kb. The buying process was weird so to me being remote most of the times. The major problems came with communication. It was times where I’d bring up an issue that myself or my lender needed an answer too and wouldn’t hear back for days. Also upon moving in there was and still is problem such as the appliances in my home that have not been addressed.

Nice neighborhood and good sized lots

The builder is very good when you check each stages of the building process in your house, if you forget anything you paid for during upgrades you will not get it in your house as they have so many houses they are building at the same time. Overall if you let them know what you paid for, you will get it in your house.

KB team provided great customer service and communication throughout the build process. Attention to detail in the initial planning and continuous communication was key to ensuring our home was built to plan and our expectations. We had two significant issues during our build. First was a three month closing date delay as a result of material supply chain and labor shortages. The second was quality of workmanship completed by contractors due to labor shortage. We feel the KB team did their best to provide us a quality, on time product. We would recommend KB.

Every does come together and make sure things are great for the clients, that’s make the big purchases! We live our forever home!

Overall I'm satisfied. The big problem was that It took very long time to finished the house, so I couldn't do my 1031 exchange.

Great customer service and attention to clients, made the experience go smoothly.

Sales promised a complete home in 6 months however the construction team said it would be closer to 9. So from the beginning, I was being misled. My weekly updates were not always kept, one time i had to ping the construction mgr as I hadn't heard from him in a month. The updates were never complete. If 5 things were complete, i was informed about one. Sales promised weekly updates and photos and that never happened. I hired a 3rd party inspector and he pointed out issues that I then had to beg to get addressed. The best advice I would give someone is research everything and stay in top of the construction team. Get a 3rd party inspector. Loan and design studio personnel were top notch. I felt pressured over and over again to rate the team with 10s even though they know they were not warranted. ... More

Loved the experience. But I’m finding it hard to get someone to repair/correct a few things that was asked.

Some difficulties in the closing date, because change the price to pay off down, ok

Visit your future home periodically, to detect issues in the construction process and ask for corrections every step till conpletion

Our construction supervisor Erik is amazing. He was very informative and responsive.

Generally a positive experience. They will try to get you to bundle your mortgage and insurance with their in-house products/services but you can go with your own. Extremely hard to get any customized features on newer technologies, such as internet and solar systems. Such as structured wiring (ethernet, cable, etc) cabinet HAD to be in the master bedroom closet, and no option to go with larger solar system. However, ironically, super easy to customize "old tech" such as paint, fixtures and appliances. I got a good value for a good home, but I think if there's ever a next time, I'd go with a home builder who's much smaller and hence, responsive to what I am wanting in my home. ... More

The experience with KB has been interesting. The amount of time it took to build was 11.5 months (estimated 6-9 months). The quality of some of the material was below par. Repairs have taken months to complete and I'm still dealing with repairs 2 months after closing. Overall experience was ok, but could have been better with customer service. Studio team was Excellent and took their time so I was happy.

That once you sign the design contract, there is no going back. Even if you want to change something the very next day. So leave some time between the two design appointments so that you can decide whether you want to change your mind or not.
