We had a great experience with Justin as far as building was concerned. He was quick to answer any questions and address any issues. I would recommend him to anyone looking to build a home!

The quality of workmanship was definitely lacking. It was obvious that the drywall and paint teams took no pride in what they were doing. I’ve had them back twice as they had to fix one of their repairs. I’m still finding spots they missed.

We were not thrilled with our realtor as the updates were always 2 weeks behind, we didn’t receive our mailbox keys once we closed and then I had to drive out of my way to get them to avoid my power being turned off, and we initially had to change lots from our original pick which put us a month behind. Our superintendent was awesome and really helped with our experience. He always addressed all of our issues and never seemed annoyed with questions or concerns. He kept us up to date throughout the process as well. Overall quality of home was good and I’m happy for the price, I was not thrilled with the tile in the bathroom shower and paint on doors; thankfully we didn’t upgrade our bathrooms and planned to do it in the future. ... KB really needs to do a review of the landscaping subcontractors. Too many weeds in the sod, sod placed with gaps in between. It will eventually grow together, but will take a couple of growing seasons. Each home is elevated, which is good in case of flooding, but leaves a water-logged trench between the homes, after a heavy rain, which takes days to dry out due to sunlight only hitting the areas for a short time due to the zero-lot-line layout of the development. So far, I am very happy with the construction of the house.

Important to be fully engaged in the production process. Pay attention to details and take proper notes: who, when, where, and why. Especially the pre-walk-thru, and final walk-thru before closing. Punch list completion after closing is onerous, some issues still open six (6) weeks after closing.

I was pleased with the experience.

Better quality work in some areas

At first it was not a good experience with the home not being ready when originally advised, however once we moved it and we found we have issues/small imperfections in the home, the Superintended Brian was always available and came to the house to checkout what we needed. He also contacted all parties and made appointments to come fix the small issues. This made the process a bit less stressful as I have been told once you move in, the builder will Forget about you.

Be sure and hire an inspector before signing.

Good, still few issues are not resolved

Make sure the house meets your expectation before sign ready move in and closing. Don't trust whatever superintendent promise. He will forget when step to your home door.

The quality of the house looks like it's not brand new it look like it's 5 years old with alot of problems need to be fixed because of rush work on the house. The house cost too much money to have too many problems.

Overall, I am happy with my new home. I did a few upgrades after closing which for the price of the home should have been included since I bought their highest priced house.

I’ve had several issues that were promised to be fixed and have not been fixed with no updates or responses.

Overall our new home is beautiful. But we have a few quality issues from drywall, paint, plumbing, shower tile inadequate tile/ grout installation, internet cable that was installed is not compatible with provider and floor foundation / garage floor cracks. The issue are slowly being resolved. We have been told many times the floor concrete cracks are common in Florida. This is new to me. Moving from Virginia, we have not experience this problem. Even though the house is new, we did have a home inspection prior to closing. I would recommend this to future home buyers. So far I have ran into many issues. I have a bad Carpenter ant infestation. Part of my walls weren’t even painted right. The pavement on the driveway has things not right. The construction people made a lot of mistakes. I would not recommend KB Homes. The lenders were hard to get along with. Susan C. the sales associate has been great.

Cindy my selling agent was great. I do not like the fact that certain things were left unfinished and sloppy, granted they have been fixed, but I guess things were being rushed to meet a deadline.

Great experience with the Staff at the Sales Center. our home was delivered with some incomplete issues. the response was quick in addressing the issue but action to correct the issue was unsatisfactory. to date we still have issues that are not completed not sure when this will be addressed.
