All good

This was the first (and probably the only time) I have had the opportunity to purchase a brand new home. My sales person was very knowledgeable and responsive. She was able to quickly get the answer to all my questions. There were a couple of small glitches I found, but they were addressed and taken care of right away. I especially appreciated the weekly status update. I was able to go over to my home site to verify that things were the way I wanted during each phase of construction.

As a Real Estate Appraiser for 25 years I have dealt with many builders, both custom and tract, and I chose a KB home because of its quality , attention to detail and ease to work with. KB also makes it easy for a seasoned homebuyer or a first time homebuyer as they guide you through the whole process and work with all other facets of the purchase from financing to insurance and final closing. I would say the majority of our buying experience was positive. We did not enjoy the financing part much. But when we switched to a different lender we were approved to buy in just under a month. The house is beautiful and the quality of craftsmanship a d attention to detail was more than what we expected. Our sales person was Susan O she made our process as easy as can be. Tom the Superintendent explained the whole building process to us and was able to get the house built a month ahead of schedule. If we had any issues and yes there were some. But that is to be expected Tom an Henk made sure they were fixed and got them around my schedule. Henk has been a good person to work with after the house is built Tom hands over the warranty work portion to Henk who will schedule whatever job needs done. Many upgrades, even construction ones like a covered patio, are offered through the design studio. They handled the process very well I thought.

I appreciated all the updates and saw my house built from the ground up. I had the opportunity to design the way that I wanted inside and outside which gave more control over what my house was going to like.

Everything has been really great from all members of the team, the only real complaint I’ve had is with the hoa. Some members of the community have left their broken down cars on the side of the road and left the yards with lots of weeds despite the neighborhood not being that old. It’s a bit disappointing for how much we are paying but the overall home buying and designing has been great

Moved to Tucson in March. Discovered after months of searching new & pre-owned homes with top realtor Peter that KB offered a sound value, contemporary design, quality location for a commuter to downtown as well as to Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, competent build, and hired outstanding can-do staff (including but not limited to Elaine (who introduced me to KB) in sales, Eddie in sales, Rose in walk-through, and Jack the construction supervisor). No regrets!

We were both amazed at the professionalism and attention we received from everyone we encountered. From the buying experience to move-in to quality of the home to follow-up…all has been great.

The sales side and the site managers who you actually speak with are great. My only downside is now that I’m moved in, the rest of neighborhood still needs to be built and the guys building the houses don’t seem to care about blocking your driveway or a whole street so you can’t even get to your house. Situational awareness is not one of their strongest traits. They’ll sit in their car on their phones blocking a street and won’t notice you patiently waiting for them to move until you honk but then you get stared down for having the audacity of interrupting them blocking the street. Trash gets thrown into my backyard constantly from the construction crews. Biggest downside so far. ... More

House completed on date promised. Quick response.

The KB team (from the sales office, to the showroom, to the superintendent, and more) were an absolute joy to work with. Everyone listened carefully to our wants and needs to be sure we got everything we needed and a few extras we wanted, without going over our budget. We are over the moon with the final product. Hoping this will be our forever home, but would gladly work with KB again if we ever decided on a new location.

The team was there with me through the process. They too extra time to make sure I understood what I was getting and the process behind it. Great team and happy homeowner.

I’ve had a great experience working with the sales counselors and construction managers. Throughout the buying process, I received constant updates with having to ask. The staff is overall friendly!
