Took a few month more to complete the home, but over all it's done and I'm enjoying it.

Make sure you look for Ed. He gives the best attention to detail and quality customer service and listens to your needs and desires when customizing your house. Sometimes I felt he was my realtor. You don't find many great people like Ed these days in the real estate world. The quality of the build of certain things in the house overall was good. There are some things that could use improvement such as better door handles for example but overall combined together it was a very good experience with sales and the neighborhood.

With the right team, my entire experience would have been amazing. Unfortunately the combination I had wasn’t as good. The major issue was internal miscommunication from KB side. Some wished smooth transition and experience towards customer, but at some point the link breaks and messages do not translate as intended. While working with external partners everything went well. Overall, I think experience will vary based on individual and teams assigned to ones case.

It was great experience with buying primary home with KB. Sale person Randy is very informative and helpful through out this process. He provided timely updates on every stage. Also, Mitch is hand over home on right time aa promised. He makes sure everything is fine and if anything is required to fix, he fixes within timeframe. I only had bad experience with Kb home loan provider. They didn’t not provide competitive interest rates than other lenders.

Overall the experience was good. Took longer than we would have liked, but it's understandable given the world situation right now. Communication with the super, Ken, and sales agent, Jon, were great. Some workmanship is a little lackluster. The are obvious used of the wrong paint type visible in areas (semigloss instead of eggshell), installation of clearly broken cabinets and backsplash left as "good enough", the complete wrong bathroom courteous 6 installed, wrong sized mirrors (we still don't have any a month and a half later), and very crooked hanging of fixtures. We've been ensured the majority of our issues will be fixed, but it seems to be on a back burner for everyone but the super who seems frustrated he can't get people to fix our issues. It took a very long time to get my house done, because of many issues with supplies, covid, etc. had I known it was going to be longer than a year I would not have purchased a home. In the meantime the long wait almost made me lose out on being able to qualify for my loan, even though the price was locked in the interest was not. Everyone was helpful.

Overall, my experience was fine. I do feel like during the construction part, corners we’re cut. This caused issues after move in and I am currently in the process of getting those issues fixed. I understand that these builds are typically “cookie cutter” and fast. But I wish they would have payed a little more attention to detail.

I appreciate customer service the most and Bill was amazing throughout the process. He always promptly responded to my questions and was on top of everything. I knew everything that was going on with the house building process. The house itself is also beautiful. The only negative thing I have to say is that there were definitely some things that could have been done better as far as painting and cleaning up better but even with that, they were very good at coming back and fixing those issues which I was very happy about. My home is everything and more. My only issues were delayed start and then waiting for the concrete. Other than that this has been an amazing process and my home is beautiful. The superintendent is amazing and stays in touch every step of the way. Thank you KB for giving me my beautiful home!

Overall a good experience with KB Homes

There was never a time we could not communicate or hear what we had to say. Uncontrollable issues were updated continuously. Options were on the table as necessary to keep us updated.

Construction Superintendent was on top of all my issues especially meeting deadlines And timelines. Issues being resolved as needed. No major complaints.

Value of the home was great.

The more I looked around the inside of my home their were a lot of areas that needed touch up or the correct sheen of paint.

Customer services was great, the building process was somewhat frustrating because dates were given of closing and then will be pushed back for months

I signed my paperwork on 7/4/2019. From there on both my sales and construction team were attentive and responsive to all of my voiced concerns and update requests. Throughout the process we hit some bumps in the road, but for the most part they were made up and continued on with no further issues.

Everything from the sales office with kurt to the house build with chris was smooth and easy.

Response to issues by KB is good but response by the subcontractor is not very reliable.

The sales team, financing and construction supervisor were great. The paint finishing was below average for the price paid.

We have been in our new home a couple months are enjoying it. This is my 3rd new build so I don’t know if I’m just picky but lots of paint overspray on the tile floors I’m finding throughout the home and messiness in lines of grout and paint on doors, I’ve asked for extra paint stock at least half dozen times and still have yet to get it. I went in with a huge amount of upgrades on cabinets, Quartz countertops and other major items but just went with the standard plumbing in kitchen and bathrooms and installed them ourselves due to the overpricing by the design center. Structurally I am happy with the home, but the cleaning and some labor functions I would say need to be perfected since we spend a lot of money on these homes and I expect precision in the completion of the home .
