Buying a home in Seabrook has largely been a great experience. The sales agent we dealt with from the beginning was great to work with and was always there for us and highly responsive. A definite '5' in everything! However, Covid and supply chain issues caused the home to be two months late. They could have handled that a little better. KHov then had some turnover and our home was part of a surge of homes being built as they finished the 120 home development. But we were patient with our home building process and fortunately they didn't rush completing our home. We are very happy in our new KHov home! ... More

Pay more attention to small details

I would like any one that purchased a home with a laundry room on the 3rd floor in the single door closet that they are aware of the trouble that the drip pan caused me with the installation. It took 5 different visits from Lowe’s and a KH plumber , and Garrett and Austin to help me finally get it installed. This was the worst headache ever having to deal with that for over a week.

There were a few hiccups, some due to weather and supply issues, the others were due to poor management during the build process. Overall we are happy with the product and would recommend KHov to any of our friends.

By far the best experience we had buying a home! From day one of the initial purchase to the final move in was absolutely the best.

My new home has been quite the process and has left me with many things to reflect on. Just like any process set-backs will occur especially during a pandemic but I’m pleased with the results. I must say that any issue that arose, KHOV resolved it in a timely fashion. If your looking for accountability and customer service, look no further.

My house was completed - from dirt to move in - during a building material shortage - in 20 weeks! The entire K.Hov team pays attention to every detail. During the building process, the agents were always available and at the ready to answer any question; nothing was ever too much trouble. I was moving to Bakersfield from the Bay Area and they were very accommodating in allowing me to do things along the way on the phone, by doc u sign, text and email. When I had my walk through, I learned about amazing features of this home that I wasn’t aware of and it was a pleasant surprise. In addition to all the warranties, K.Hov also has a portal for residents where you can find out every single detail of your home; colors, manufacturer, etc, numbers for all utilities and local information; documents; and allows you to submit service requests. This same portal sends you monthly maintenance reminders too! This builder goes above and beyond long after you receive your keys! I have submitted service requests and the issue was resolved within 2 days, and most of the time, the same day. The entire K.Hovnanian team makes you feel like family. We worked with Dwight the community Manger and also with Scott. Both of these guys were extremely professional and very good at their jobs. We would highly recommend KHOV to build your home. They truly care about the homeowners and will gonthebextra mile to deliver a satisfied customer.

The knowledge of the employees and the fact that they stayed on top of things at all times. They were easy to reach out to and communicate with.

This was our first time as homeowners and maybe we just got really lucky, but the process was smooth and communication from both builder, lender and our sales consultant was great. The Khov staff really made the biggest difference for us in being able to help us feel confident in the process and being able to set expectations and walk us through what to expect and understand. Only areas of feedback is that even though we did our walk through, we identified minor areas where we missed paint touch up or small holes showing by the doors, but luckily, they’re all in areas you won’t notice as much. Overall great experience that we would do again

Great customer service. All concerned were very helpful throughout the entire build process as well as after move-in.

So far so good. We’ve had a few issues as expected with new build. Items are being addressed in a reasonable timeframe and professionally.

Nice and quiet neighborhood

We have built from other contractors and had nightmares. our experience with K.Hovnanian was the extreme opposite. From the moment we met with Dodie, the company's First Face, to Robert the Foreman, to Jimmy, a contractor - we were pleased 100%.Each and every one knew the product, were extremely helpful and professional and we continue to interact with them after our move-in. We decided to finance with K.Hovnanian and were also pleased. Karie, our first contact, guided us through each step. Closing was smooth and seamless thanks to the closing agents. All in all we have had a very positive experience and highly recommend to anyone. Our community here at Waterstone is growing and so far we have met great people. The only negative is one that leads to the material side: As a woman I want things to match in the bathrooms and throughout; i.e., satin or shiny in all hardware - not mixed. A choice of appliance upgrades would be nice. The ones in the home are just ok and we replaced right away. Lastly are the front doors - they open out, not in. Unlike souther Florida, hat feature isn't required in this part of Florida so we would like at the very least to have had the option to open in as it is much more welcoming. ... More

My construction manager, Charlie, communicated with me throughout the building process and was quick to respond if I had any issue, even after I had moved in. The sales team in the office, Brenda and Lisa, were kind, friendly extremely competent, quick to help with questions or concerns.

I would recommend them. However we would have liked a certain level upgrade to the back yard (this was the third new house we purchased, but the only one with zero upgrade to the backyard).
