Great builder and Great Customer service

Process of building and closing went very well. The process was MUCH better than the process we went through 6 years ago when we custom built a home with a custom home builder. The Highland Homes Construction manager and sales person kept us updated with weekly phone calls on the progress of construction and always answered any questions we had. A couple of cosmetic items we noted after closing that needed attention, but all were fixed promptly and professionally. Another builder wanted to nickel and dime for extras like sprinklers, landscaping, sod, etc and would not allow us to have a whole house vacuum installed. A lot of the extras Highland INCLUDES in their homes and they were perfectly OK with allowing us to install a whole house vacuum. We were even able to customize the kitchen to allow space for a chef's fridge and freezer to be installed. ... More

From the very start, it was obvious that we made the right choice to build our home with Highland. No matter how small of a detail, question, or concern that we had throughout the process the employees at all echelons were nothing but pleasant and courteous. When issues came up, which is inevitable, I firmly believe that Highland went that extra step to make us happy that other builders just wouldn't have done. The only, and I mean only black mark we had was with our design appointment. Being first timers, and the fact that Highland gives you more choices in materials than Lowe's, 3 hours just isn't enough to figure it all out. For example, there was easily 40 choices of brick and 20 choices of stone. Easy to pick one of each but hard to pick something that looks great together. The person that was supposed to be there guiding us wasn't very helpful at all! In the end we had to return to the design center 2 more times on our own to get things looking right. Been in our house 2 months and weve really enjoyed it so far. Had some issues with the water heater and sprinklers, but HH was quick to address them. Excellent construction management

HAVE BEEN A HIGHLAND HOME OWNER FOR 2 MONTHS AND I AM CURRENTLY PLEASED WITH THE PROCESS AND THE WAY THE HIGHLAND TEAM HAS HANDLED EVERYTHING SO FAR. WE HAVE A FEW THINGS THAT NEED TO BE TAKEN CARE OF ON OUR PUNCH LIST. I HAVE KNOW DOUBT THAT HIGHLAND WILL TAKE CARE OF THEM. WE ARE VERY HAPPY :)

My recent purchase with Highland Homes in Gruene Villages, was exceptional. The sales staff (Mark), went above and beyond in my opinion to help us navigate the process, as we delt with a difficult sale of our current home at the same time. Since our purchase was complete, the Post Sale help has continued. Every issue (which to date has been minor), has been handled extremely well and very promptly. The onsite Builder (James) has been an exceptional resource with questions and issues that have come up to date.

David sent my introduction to him, has always been prompt, patient,, informative, and affective. He has always answered my questions and clarified any issue or problem that arises. He is quick to resolve any issues or discrepancies in an extremely timely manner. He makes herself available, and his customer service is exceptional. Between Alan, the sales person, and David, I could not be more happy with my purchase. They both put kept me at ease and insured me that everything would be just fine throughout this process. I love my new home.

I trouble say that Sue and Spencer and everyone else helped right away with anther needed done! I have to say this had probably the best experience I’ve had from building to buying g existing. The o oh. Complaint I had are the cheap door knonbs. The cheap fiberglass in the barren of the shower I would take a house of this. Calibrlber would have put nicer fixtures in ah half a million dollars, you should her a house with nicer fixtures. But o their thank that everyone wa wheezy!over all I’ve been very a Happy with HH

We were extremely nervous to buy from a homebuilder again, as our first experience was very unpleasant. Highland worked with us every step of the way, was super responsive, and accommodated our wishes (like our external inspector that came to every inspection). We live in a mixed neighborhood of various homebuilders, and you can tell which are Highland Homes. The quality is absolutely higher. We did lots of Googling and review-reading prior to selecting Highland, and it was a great decision. They are also super responsive after the fact and have taken good care of us. We have moved into our beautiful home and love it very much We have had some issues here and there but that’s to be expected in any new home but they come immediately to resolve or fix any issues right away this has been amazing on their part. The accommodations for making my home for my needs has also been amazing and greatly aapreciated

We had been looking at this builder and floorplan for about two when we were finally ready to move forward. Our sales counselor, Thea, was absolutely amazing to work with - she was knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. She set and managed our expectations by communicating frequently and thoroughly throughout the process. Our construction manager, Clayton, was spectacular to work with. His attention to detail and communication style allowed me to feel at ease with the entire process. He was available to answer questions, offer suggestions, and ensure everything went smoothly. Late in the process, Clayton was reassigned to a different neighborhood, and our new construction manager was Chuck. My wife and I were very nervous about the change, but Thea and Chuck ensured it was seamless. Chuck's passion for homebuilding was very evident. He was able to finish our build and met all of our expectations. Our house has had some very minor issues (as I am sure most new builds do), but Chuck has responded quickly and resolved them to our complete satisfaction! ... More

The Highland Homes experience from the showing of my new home, to the buying of the home, the mortgage process through Highland Homes was and continues to be outstanding. From the start, dealing with Tiffany and Thea in the Sales Office who responded to every request I had since I was purchasing from out of state, moving from AZ back to TX, to Doug with the financing process, to Brody for fixing minor house issues as I moved in. In TX, Highland Homes is the best builder around and I highly recommend this company. Didn’t know what to expect in the beginning with the design and building process, but once communicating that we were interested and involved in the building process along the way, we were able to find trust in the Highland process. There were a couple of early issues, but Highland worked to provide acceptable solutions. Most important, we were grateful of the support and the timeliness of addressing issues of concern during the early stages of the warranty process after construction completion. The project manager was extremely helpful ensuring our satisfaction.
