Highland built our home to accommodate our unique needs of our family members. Bathrooms and doors handicap accessible for wheelchairs. It is so much easier to get around the house in my powerchair because of the wide hallways and doors. I love the walk-in showers. The construction management team and contractors did a great job building the home. I was extremely impressed with the stone workmanship. The Chesterfield is a very spacious floor plan if you need the room, but not the stairs. The sales team, Chad and Sue assisted us all the way from beginning until closing.

Purchasing a home with Highland was a very smooth, stress free process. Caren over at Liberty had great customer service. I researched several builders but I couldn't be happier with the choice I made. I love my Highland home!

I am very happy with my decision to build a new home with Highlands in Sand Brock. I had looked at many places but this was the first time I found a place that has good builders in my price range. And I love feeling like I'm living in the country. and I really love having the cows and horses on the property I've only had a couple small issues and Andrew was on them instantly!!! If you want a well built home with caring people and beauty this is it.

We could not be more pleased that we selected Highland Homes for our new residence in the Dallas area. From our first step into the model home/sales office it was nothing but friendliness, helpfulness and professionalism (Margaret Anne + Ashley). Buying from out of state, it was a bit difficult in making selections but the designer (Ashley) and everyone else was always very accommodating. All along the construction process, we were kept up to date and most surprising when they proposed a closing date....that was the date we closed! It has been a pleasure to work with Daniel on everything once we moved into our home. He guided us from final inspection through the warranty process and communicates almost immediately when we have a question/concern about our new home....and then gets it done! ... More

Very professional in how they handle everything, from communication to quality of the home. Highland all around was easy to work with and honest with everything upfront and throughout closing.

The building process was smooth and timely. My sales consultant Lisa and contractor Matt were fantastic! Highly recommend. My only complaint is the quality of cabinets and no choices for upgrades on some things I would have preferred. That’s the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 for quality of materials, workmanship was 5 stars. But that said, I am very pleased with my new home.

Builder continues to support long after closing. Great experience overall. Front office team was very good as well!

We initially looked at Highland, shopped around but came back to them. The quality of the house is amazing and have not had one issue in the 3 months we moved. They walked us through the entire process and answered every question.

The first home we purchased here in DFW was a Highland Home. Since then, we have built with Drees, Onyx, Beazer and Megatel. Highland was the best with customer service. For this community, we chose Highland based on our past experiences. They did not disappoint! The customer service during the construction and after moving in has been outstanding! Josh K., Spencer and Josh T. Made sure all concerns were taken care of to our satisfaction! They went above and beyond! I will not hesitate recommending Highland to our friends and relatives!

The response to issues has been exceptional. Our builder representative (Chase) has made sure every concern was addressed to our satisfaction.

Mr jerrod was an outstanding professional. He made all Efforts to satisfy us. The builder representative on final survey was also very nice gentlemen and explained all aspects of our house . This is our primary home and me and my wife are very happy to be part of highland homes and inspiration community.

Not much choice on "cheap" (but not-inexpensive) light fixtures, need to add 1/4 round at base at wood floors and floor tile and not just large caulk joints. Same at the end of wall tile, there are several ways to finish off the end of tile other than large caulk joints. Overall workmanship on the house was Excellent!

Our home buying experience was great. Lisa, Rich, and Nunnie were great in getting my family into our home in Parkside.

Highland has been very responsive to our needs. We have been a little disappointed in some workmanship issues although Highland has responded to all of our requests and fixed everything we have asked to be fixed. This is the first time we have built a new home so it is possible our expectations were too high.

The buying experience was excellent, but days later after we closed started seeing a lot of issues. The biggest issue was our backyard not draining very well and started killing the grass and Highland didn’t want to do anything about it, saying they don’t warranty against puddles, but they weren’t ordinary puddles. However, they did finally fix the issue. The other major issue had to do with our glass back door. It has scratches in the glass that Highland will not fix, because it’s cosmetic. I know that we didn’t put the scratches there, it happened during the build. We missed it during our final walk through, because the builder concentrated us on the inside of the home. Highland did not due a thorough inspection. Definitely spent the money for an inspection!!!! We deserve our back door fixed because we did not do that, but they will not! ... More

It was a great experience with few errors and hiccups but resolved after the closing.
