Doug was our builder. Despite going through this process from another state, his weekly updates and supper responsive for all of our questions have made this process very smooth and seamless. There were countless time where he helped made our decisions easier and we appreciate his professionalism throughout the process.

Highland Homes was truly a great experience from start to finish. Both sales and construction were informative, knowledgeable and transparent throughout the entire process. My family and I are so grateful to have met and worked with the Gateway Village Team.

Working with the highland team was seamless. Excellent communication with Daniel and Jack. Any questions I had Daniel was quick to respond. I’m so glad I went with highland and will recommend them to family and friends who are looking for their next home.

We have purchased a number of new homes, and our experience with Highland Homes in Walsh Ranch (Fort Worth Texas) was the best. From the sales process (Layne) to the Interior Decorator (Kayla) to the builder’s representative (Jason) the team has been professional, helpful and great at keeping in touch with progress!

Number one thing is be patient and courteous. Everyone is from sales team to construction team treated us with respect. Even minor issues and repairs were addressed swiftly and professionally. Bob our construction superintendent was a true pleasure to work with. His shared knowledge of the housing construction process helped relieve a lot of our stress!

Jennifer and Austin were fantastic! They went out of their way to make sure we were happy with every aspect of the home. It was a great experience and we would highly recommend Highland Homes.

Hayley, our sales consultant, was earnest, sincere and helpful in answering all of our questions. This was our fourth house that we have bought. Hayley is by far the best sales consultant of the bunch. Dalton, our construction mgr, has been extremely honest and helpful in addressing any questions that we bring to his attention. Dustin was simply incredible - and exceeded our expectations in quality, professionalism and authenticity/trustworthiness. We've been in our home for almost two months now and are still receiving compliments on the quality and craftsmanship of the home. Even our independent inspector was complimentary of the quality of the home and Highland as a builder during a time when many builders were cutting corners due to the pandemic impacts on every industry. Our experience with Dustin was so great that my sister (who we were staying with during our build) and her husband decided to build a Highland home and join the Highland family after seeing our journey and hearing about our experience with the Highland team (Dustin, Ryan and Sarah). The entire team from Sia to construction manager Alex to those in between with Alice and Miya were all great. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. It was a great experience. I would definitely recommend Highland Homes, but especially this particular team.

We have moved into our dream home built by Highland Homes. Rikki our sales counselor was there to answer all of our questions and get things done for us. Cliff and Chuck, our builders did an excellent job on the home and Cliff has followed up on any issues we have had and immediately resolved them. Thank you Highland Team for making this happen.

The part that impressed me the most is the quality of the home building experience. From the materials they use to the managers who work directly with the homebuyers, we felt very taken care of with Highland Homes.

Carol (Sales) was extremely helpful throughout the buying/building process. She answered our many questions on a timely basis (even on her days off) or referred them to the construction manager. She also worked very well with our realtor representative from Coldwell Banker, Amanda. John (construction manager) always replied to our questions quickly and on several occasions came to the house to explain different aspects of the construction process to us. He kept us fully aware of the construction timeline which was a big concern of ours. Excellent job on his part. Tim (construction manager) came on late in the building process and has been working with us on follow-up items mostly. He also has answered many questions in and out of the house and has been easy to communicate with on some outstanding issues. Doing an excellent job on those. Debbie and Joy was very informative and helpful throughout the process of the buying of my house. My project managers Travis and Blake communicate effectively with the entire process, and very thorough at my walk through before I closed. The team continue to provide excellent service after I closed on my house. I highly recommend Highland homes if you want quality, professional, and efficient homebuilder.

We had a great experience throughout the entire process of working with highland and the development of our home over the course of a year. It started with a great visit to the model home where the sales woman Edna gave us a tour in person of every single floor plan they offered. She was extremely knowledgeable about all of their homes and even showed us around pecan square. Taking that extra step and showing us instead of just talking to us about everything made our experience feel personalized. After signing our contract, we were partnered with the designer and construction manager both of whom continued the personalized experiences. No matter who you work with at highland, everyone is very communicative, honest and upfront. Although their floor plans are top notch, I t’s the small details that make a highland home stand out—the extra tall doors, the light fixture selection, to the quality of cabinets and well thought out floor plan. It was great and I am glad to choose Highland Homes as my builder. No delays no hidden fees. Just great employees to talk and assist you with your queries.

I would buy my Highland home all over again. My only complaint is that our brand new home was filthy. I had to clean/scrub everything before I could put anything away. Huge hunks of construction debris on top of cabinets etc. I cleaned until my hands ached.

Accepting the fact that building a home Post-COVID is extremely stressful makes the experience much easier, however, having a building team like Caleb, Austin and Almalic is extremely comforting. My wife and I are Blessed to have had such a team on our side!

We relocated from DFW to the Houston area a few months ago and were in the search for a one-story home. We investigated the Cane Island community in Katy, Texas, and found Jason, our sales rep, who showed us a Highland home virtually. We loved the floor plan, but the flooring and tile were not to our liking, so Jason sold us their model! He walked with us and communicated through every step of the 7-month process, and we moved into our beautiful home in September 2022. My builder listened to my needs and built my last dream home to my home. Couldn't be happier with our Highland home.
