If you've never had a new home built, there will be problems. Fulton does closely monitor the build to eliminate potential problems

Overall the home is great. The Fulton staff have been quick to respond to concerns. The paint in the home is the cheapest chalk like paint you can get. It shows EVERYTHING. If you have kids it would be a hot mess. We've built 3 homes and this one is the most cosmetically pretty one yet.

Fulton Homes are beautiful. I recommend them to anyone looking for a new home

I didn't have the full Fulton experience since I bought a model home. I was pleased with our sales rep. She was knowledgeable, responsive, and very pleasant to work with.

The process was great. The only issue was things that were not repaired after our blue tape walkthrough. I’d rather be told they wouldn’t repair certain things than having to spend time on them during the walkthrough.

The thing we love most about our home is that it increased $10,000 in value by the time they completed it from what we paid for it. Other features that Fulton homes have that a lot of other builders do not is the wood blinds that are standard throughout the house, the WiFi thermostat, and all the lights are LED. I also loved the huge 8'x 42" entry door. However, we were disappointed in some of the work the subs did. NOBODY cleaned up after themselves. The drywall mess was not cleaned up before the painter sprayed our trim work, resulting in chunks of debris on our trim. Floor tile was installed before they finished painting and no drop cloths were used. Mortar buckets were washed out over the sidewalk pavers leaving stains. Paper and garbage was dropped inside and out wherever subs were working and not cleaned up. The building supt made sure these items were fixed before we moved in, but if Fulton is going to toot their workmanship these issues need to be addressed. ... More

Fulton home buying process met my expectations and the finished home looks beautiful and well made.

A process that was both exciting & frustrating. It took almost 2 months from signing the contract to break ground...that was a frustrating issue! However, we went to view the progress almost weekly for the next 7-8 mths & were impressed w/the intricate details & structural integrity. When picking ur options for upgrades vs builder options, do your homework- some items are a reasonable value - others are overpriced....you can upgrade yourself later for less on things like ceiling fans or upgraded lighting options. When there are issues under the post closing warranty, they respond & tcb Pretty rapidly! Overall very happy with Fulton builders and would definitely recommend- but I think the value for price paid could have some improving. The flight path was expressed as a couple miles from us - no problem - but we’ve been having flight paths directly overhead! NOT happy about that! ... More

Sales people were amazing loved working with them. The clean-up and final presentation of the house was a little lack luster. We arrived to our house to get keys to find the cleaning crew were still here and that the glass stove top was cracked. We actually arrived 15 minutes late to our appointment and felt like everything was not wrapped up and ready to go. That was a little disappointing having bought a Fulton home in the past and knowing their quality and service. My wife had left comments and sent a message via Fulton website on how disappointing we felt with the presentation and no one from Fulton ever responded to her message. After our initial move in, they were however very responsive and checking in daily to ensure all issues have been resolved since moving into our home. The Superintendent Jeff here at Sirona has been amazing to ensure we have been fully taken care of. His follow-up and attention to detail alone I would give 5 stars. ... More

I do love this new house but there are a lot of "buts." This is the third new house we have built - the other two were in Florida. Quite a difference. Some of the workers who built our house were very sloppy and careless. They opened the front door at one point and punched a huge hole in the wall with the doorknob. The garage floor has numerous stains from carelessness with materials. The builder was responsible for landscaping the front in Florida - and we had beautiful palm trees and plants. Fulton does none of the landscaping but offers $2500 when the owner finishes landscaping the front. To do a comparable job to what we had in Florida cost much more than $2500. I don't understand why cement block is not used to build houses in this heat and termite country. I had never seen a house built with sheets of Styrofoam used for insulation! Looks like two people did the texture on the walls - one from the top and one on the bottom. They met in the middle leaving a definite line. We had this redone. Wherever painters had to patch and re-paint it looked like they used a different type of paint - shiny finish as opposed to flat finish. We had this redone. Our beautiful granite counter top was not sealed! Water soaked right into it. Had to have it resealed. The outside trim under the roof needed to be repainted. The first painter who came to repaint talked on his cell phone the whole time and the paint job looked bad when he finished - many missed places. The second painter did a wonderful job. Been in house since end of December and no issues.

The actual building of my home was great. The final walk through needs much more time to education homeowner on how to use the new appliances and the issues with electric dryer modifications that may have to be done if dryer is not new.

We received great attention and responsiveness at the start, the showings and help we received from all staff members was a good experience. There were times we had to be a little persistent to get the help we needed

This is our second Fulton Home. We believe the overall value is good, the sales and design people were very good. This home seems to have been lost in scheduling for a period of time and it delivered about 4 months later than what was at first thought should work. There is what we believe is a major design error where the air conditioner compressor is located outside. We also do not understand why Centurylink is the internet supplier of choice. We along with other people have been very frustrated with our experience in getting our internet activated. On the flip side we love the design and quality of workmanship throughout our new home in Barney Farms. We are Snowbirds and will be back in AZ in October. We looking forward to meeting the people and the amenities in our neighbourhood again when we return. ... More

Sales process was smooth. The community and the facilities provided are very good. Some of the items reported during the final inspection are still pending. The cabinet vendor is unresponsive. The GE appliances being provided does not meet quality standards. A damaged hood is still not replaced after 10 attempt

Overall I’m happy with the home and my interactions with the general contractor who oversaw construction. He was very responsive when I would reach out for updates. The sales team has also been helpful and almost always remember me by name when I see them. The common areas are well maintained and the community is beautiful. Some of the finishing touches were sloppy, left for me to remedy (paint splatters on flooring, construction cleanup very minimal) or difficult to submit for repair because you can only have one open repair ticket at a time. The sub-contractors who come to do repairs have so far not come with the supplies needed to complete the work. ... More

Our sales rep (Tom) was great, and I felt like he truly was our advocate. Post sales of taking care of tickets and getting things repaired is horrific. We've been in our house for roughly 3 months, and have taken care of 2 or 3 things out of about 12.

Art was wonderful to work with. He is patient and honest and was very helpful throughout the entire process. He is the consummate professional.

Sales department was great but customer service after closing has been disappointing. We are awaiting completion of several issues and Fulton is not responding in a timely manner.

Overall, our experience working with Fulton Homes was good. Frustrating at times with all the delays getting our house done. Took an extra 7 months to get the keys to our home. Still missing screens for atrium doors and have a brand new dishwasher that has never worked. Had to have GE send out someone to inspect and ended up ordering 3 parts. After waiting 5-6 weeks for parts, they were installed and still dishwasher doesn't work. 4th part ordered and if this doesn't work, we are demanding a new dishwasher. Looking forward to the day when nothing else has to be fixed, adjusted or replaced.

This is the 2nd time I've bought a new home. In this experience, there were a lot of options that I could've included in my new home. I chose to remain conservative as much as possible but that wasn't easy. As we walked through each process, it was hard to imagine how much control I had in the placement, construction and options to build my new home. I know that constructing a new home is a lot of time involved in the process but Fulton Homes made that easy for me. They had already preselected many amenities and upgrades that I could add into my build. I didn't realize how many things I could add or upgrade until the day of my upgrading process. It took almost the whole day but I really needed the time to sort out through the whole process. In the end, I'm extremely happy with the build but regretted being too conservative in my thinking. There were a few things I wish I did add to the upgrade list that would've added value to my new home. Value being the happiness of a home I enjoy living in. I'm still happy but as each day goes by, I'm still having a fantastic time in my new surroundings, the friendly neighbors and the warm welcoming environment that AZ has given to us. Our sales agent Jack is Fantastic. Our Superintendent Pat is very responsive and personable. The home price and value are good. When we moved in we had to clean. It's like they forgot to send the cleaner. Grout on the baseboards is pretty tacky. No care was taken with touch up paint as there were paint droplets all over the floor throughout the house. Our microwave hasn't worked since we moved in but we have to wait a month for a repair person? Overall it's a good house. Pat and his crew are ready to address issues.
