Our Construction manager was fabulous and attentive to any question or detail that came up. We love our new home.

Kevin sales person was great and helpful. Construction manager Ethan made sure work was done properly and wasn't satisfied until it met his approval and state guidelines.

We love our house the layout is wonderful. Just had a few issues but overall it’s a great house.

Overall I am very happy with my home and experience with Dell Webb. As for workmanship, the subcontractors in my experience were careless in their care of my house during construction. For example, when the flooring had been installed, it was not completely covered and workmen walked in and out without removing or covering their shoes, tracking dirt onto the carpet and risking scratching the hard surface flooring. The subs that installed the tile in the master bathroom shower did not cover the vinyl floor, resulting in grout dropped on the hard vinyl flooring. Although the grout was cleaned up, it was not done until the grout had already hardened, making it impossible to completely get it 100% clean. When the garage was drywalled, drywall mud was dropped on the floor and not cleaned up. All of these issues could have been avoided by covering the floors before starting the work or cleaning up immediately after completing the work. As for the value for the price paid, one could probably purchase an existing home with more square footage for less money; however, the builder incentives and HOA benefits help balance that out. Also, it will be interesting to see how often and by how much our HOA fees increase over time. Regarding our HOA, I really like my experience with Spectrum, so much so, that, even though I have pay for cell phone service out-of-pocket, I changed my cell phone provider from AT&T to Spectrum. Sales experience was great. I’ve worked with Pulte in my previous life as a realtor in California and one thing I have noticed is the quality of sub contractors in Indiana doesn’t match what I was use to in California.

Pleased with every step except for one. I closed in August and zi still do not have keys for my home. The installer of the Doors (84 Lumber) has been totally incompetent and unprofessional. Dell/Webb should not use this Contractor - I will be hiring a Locksmith and sending the Bill to Dell/Webb for payment. This issue has caused us much stress. If we leave our home and there is a Power Failure we would be unable to get into our house

Steve in Sales was great to work with, very knowledgeable. You really need to consider the overall cost of what to add in upfront versus doing it later. Moving into a new home has enough worries with just moving, downsizing, gleaning out stuff you should have gotten rid of before. Things happen fast in construction and its exciting to watch it go up. We like our field manager too, Dale. We love the warranties we have, just makes us feel that once you move in, you are not forgotten. Makes me think Pulte stands behind their work. As a first time builder, I was very happy with the experience.

It was a good experience and the company met all the deadlines. The only challenge that I have had is that the electric company placed the electric line through the sewer line. The result was that the home flooded when I ran the dishwasher, washer and shower together. The company response was immediate and thorough. Currently in the repair process and pulte has paid for everything and promised to make my home exactly as it was when I moved in.

Been in home for 2 months, finding little things that sub-contractors shortcut, covered over or ignored. Believe they took advantage of new to the business construction manager. Fortunately so far, I have been able to fix or repair items w/o much, if any, cost.

Our field manager was excellent to work work. Very responsive to our questions or concerns.

We are still waiting for Pulte to respond to our request to fix a couple of issues.

Attention to detail is impressive as is communication and responsiveness during construction. Upgrades and options are pricey but worth the expense if they meet your needs. Quality of bathroom fixtures disappointing.

The Sales person was very helpful. The field manager always called to tell us what phase of the building was in and when to expect what the next step will be. Will be glad when we can get the yard and landscaping in. Our suggestion is to new home buyers, is to get the taller bathroom vanities, and the comfort highth toilets.

Pulte is a great builder. Quality is good. Responsiveness to issues is very poor. Need quicker response to homeowner concerns. The response to issues in two weeks prior to the closing was excellent and the closing was done as scheduled. Response prior to the two weeks prior to closing was poor and has been zero after closing. Need better personnel to attend to homeowner concerns after closing.

For the most part working with Pulte was a good experience. However, we were never informed about the location of support posts in our finished basement. Now there is a post/column 3 feet from the center of the stairs. Very poor planning and very unattractive and the people we’ve talked to say it would have been easy to move this post a few feet away. At closing we agreed that there were 5/6 issues that still needed attention: 1. Our contract states the the cold air vent which is high up in the entryway would be moved down closer to the floor. 2. The screens in several windows do not fit properly along the bottom. There’s a gap where insects can easily get in. 3. Our refrigerator is still not installed. 4. The master shower door is not installed. 5. A spot of crown molding needs sanding and repainting. The furnace room and sump pump rooms were never cleaned up so we have had to remove debris left by the workers. We understand that our addition has a number of houses that are in the final stages so the contractors are busy trying to finish all these properties but it is now 5+ weeks since our closing and none of the above issues have been resolved and email, calls and texts go unanswered. It’s a beautiful and well-maintained property so the lack of attention to the above issues is disappointing especially since our house is over 4000 sa.ft. and has upgrades throughout. ... More

When we moved into our house, we were angry and sad. We would have moved out, but our former home was sold. The craftsmanship was very sloppy! I would not recommend Pulte to my friends.

Need to make the finance easier For seniors

Building experience was good. Building supervisor did a great jo keeping us updated on progress of construction.We’ve bought and sold 8 homes in last 53 years. This is our last final forever home, but I can’t even start to describe how terribly disappointed we are in the quality. Everything in our home is substandard poor quality-WITHOUT EXCEPTION from drywall, paint, countertops, plumbing, unusable handicap bars, door that opens the wrong direction, loose door facing on sliding glass door, cracked LVP flooring. Based on previous buying and building experiences, it would appear no licensed trades (except electricians) worked on this house. ... More

Our recent experience building a Pulte home in a local Del Webb community was both exciting and at times frustrating. Overall we ended up with a beautiful home with which we are very happy. There were times during the process when getting an answer to a question was more problematic than we thought it should have been. Sometimes answers were forever in coming, sometimes we didn't receive one at all. We learned during the process that Pulte has agreements or contractual arrangements with vendors, for example, suppliers of security systems, heating/air conditioning companies, closet organizers, window blinds installers all of which are sort of gently "forced" upon the buyer. We would suggest future customers explore all options and select vendors with whom they're comfortable rather than blindly accepting the recommendations of the Pulte contact person. Overall, we are happy with our new home but the process might have been a bit more efficient and "customer friendly" in our opinion. ... More

Our construction manager, Mitch, listened to our wants, needs, and must haves and succeeded in making our building experience a positive one. Kurt, our salesman, helped us through the buying process and continues to interact with us when we see him on the property or at the sales office. The closing process with Pulte Mortgage was a bit stressful but we caused a bit of that by not being decisive about whether to take a mortgage or pay cash at closing. Once our old house sold and that decision was made, things went much better. We’re very happy in our new home and looking forward to many years here. ... More
