I am very disappointed in this experience. No one from Pulte has been honest nor lived up to their word other than Brendan the sales manager who at least tries. I have been lied to my face numerous occasions by Pulte representatives and that is unacceptable on all levels. Once you close on your home, it takes an act of God to remedy issues you were promised would be fixed or the “fix” is a bandaid and not remedied professionally, as corners are cut. In other words, the “fix” is not a fix at all and attempting to have it done properly becomes a full time job for the homeowner. It is obvious that Pulte makes economical decisions on their on own behalf and has little or no concern for the homeowner. The quality of workmanship is subpar at best. Very difficult to understand why the work isn’t done right the first time! I would highly recommend that you do not close until every last item has been addressed and remedied prior to closing because it now becomes your problem and it is a nightmare!!! Although we gave a good review originally, after more than a month of living here, we are now extremely disappointed. It took way too long to start building and then it seems Del Webb rushed to complete. From the beginning, Del Webb's sales staff would only contact us after we contacted them. No updates were forthcoming until we called them. Fast forward to after closing, we hired painters to paint the bedrooms, den, and bathrooms and found the workmanship of Del Webb, in association with the walls, abysmal - incomplete (gap between top of door and drywall), did not sand mud and painted over it, gobs of caulk not smoothed out, pockmarked and dents everywhere. The building and warranty managers told us we should have never used eggshell paint because it would show too many flaws. Well we weren't expecting such poor workmanship! The drywall people came (3 days) to try and fix everything but short of starting all over (hanging new drywall), it was a futile endeavor. To top it all off, we paid extra money to have smooth walls; it was a builder's upgrade. We requested a refund, but never heard back from the salesman (no surprise there). We just hope that Del Webb's poor workmanship doesn't show up in anything else but only time will tell. In summary, Del Webb's abysmal workmanship cost us more time and money to try to correct their mistakes. ... More

Very disappointing experience. Very misleading sales practice. Very inflexible and rather unfair throughout process.
