My rental home was in better condition than what I thought would be a new home. My wife says the habitat for humanity home she grew up in didn't have as many errors. I don't know whether to trust any repairs would be more than just patch work rather than actually correcting the building errors and lack of craftsmanship. I regret buying a Centex home I regret trusting Centex with building my home. I don't know whether to just walk away from this home it's saddening to know Centex builders have such a low moral standard when building homes. One month in and not even settled and we discover a water leak caused by builder that was present prior to closing and not discovered. Extensive water and mold damage. Complete rebuild of kitchen and upstairs bathroom. Can’t even use kitchen for over 3 weeks. Not all satisfied or happy with the fact that we paid good money for a new home and now will be left with a second rate repaired build! Seeking legal counsel.

I am very disappointed with Centex workmanship. I am having leaking window problems, and A/C issues that hasn’t been rectified. They alway seem to put my issues off, especially the windows and A/C.

We had nothing but issues with our build out. Our manager was more like a 50’s salesman than a manager. I would not recommend that anyone build with Centex or Pulte homes.

God, where do I start. Our field Manager was useless, the house has major issues, centex/pulte still hasnt landscaped, and gives a million excuses why they are delayed, and no one returns calls.

Dust everywhere, loud noises from construction workers, broken stuff inside the house, workmanship is below average! Nails all in the road.

My experience has been horrible and it's still horrible. I'm still living in a unfinished house with dented appliances creeping floors & no hot water. Within the last month I had to take off work 6 times for them to come fix (quote unquote) things that should have already been done. I have no hot water still!!! I have called 3 times prior for them to fix this! Also I had no air but I finally did get air! Well, the consensus in the neighborhood is that while we all like our neighborhood and the sales team, the actual craftsmanship and completion of our homes leaves a lot to be desired. There are multiple things that have not been FINISHED in my home. I'm not talking about warranty problems, I'm talking about things that should have been finished before closing, that were promised to be completed, and never were. They new they had problems and still sold the house. So when i moved in the first they we had to go to a hotel for a week. After 40 days i still haven't got the all problem fixed and nobody is even calling to check on how everything is.
